Here’s a little info about myself! I’m a recent college graduate with a bachelor’s degree in game design who has hopes of breaking into the game industry to work with fascinating people to create fascinating games. I’ve been playing games my entire life and have been following the industry for as long as I can remember. I’ve spent a little over 9 years in the Marine Corps before deciding to move on in chasing what I see as my ultimate goal in being a full-time game developer. I’ve had experience with many software development kits but find myself most at home when using Unreal Development Kit 3.
I’m a self starter and a self learner. My biggest strengths revolve around designing and balancing gameplay mechanics. I have a very strong feel for the intricacies that can make or break a solid mechanic. I’ve taught myself programming fundamentals using C++ and am currently subscribed to and am teaching myself Unreal Engine 4 as well as Unity. I hope to put my drive and skills to good use very soon in helping a studio create the best games possible.
